Golf
Gentlemen and Boys
  • Appropriate golf attire must be worn at all times. Shirts shall have sleeves and either a collar, turtleneck, or mock turtleneck. Clean, neat and presentable denim jeans are allowed.
  • Swim trunks, running shorts and overalls/coveralls are not acceptable. T shirts, tank tops, tennis shorts and cutoffs are not acceptable.
Ladies and Young Girls
  • Appropriate golf attire must be worn at all times. Golf shorts and golf skirts are acceptable. Tailored tees are acceptable. Clean, neat and presentable jeans are allowed.
  • Swimsuits, cutoffs, jogging shorts, short shorts, gym shorts, halter-tops, bare midriffs and overalls/coveralls are not acceptable.
 
Clubhouse
  • Any acceptable and appropriate golf attire (see golf course dress code), informal attire such as slacks, skirts, sport shirts, blouses, shirts and ties, sweaters and jackets are all acceptable in the 19th hole, on the patio, in the main dining room and banquet rooms, depending on the event.
  • Swimsuits, cutoffs, jogging or gym shorts, tank tops for men, tube tops for women, halter tops, bare midriffs, or bare backs, coveralls and overalls are not acceptable.
  • Men’s and ladies swim wear is allowed on the patio only if worn with an appropriate cover-up. Men’s golf caps and hats are acceptable only in the 19th hole, and on the patio. They are not acceptable in the dining room.
  • This dress code is subject to change depending on room usage, events and the seasons. Spectators on the course should refer to the Club House Dress Code.

Pace of Play
  • Keep up with the group in front of you.
  • Should you fall behind, please play ready golf to catch up.
  • Should you have no other groups in front of you, and a group behind you is finished putting before you have left the next tee box, please let them play through.
 
Golf/Cart Policies
  1. All golf carts must be kept thirty (30) feet away from the greens or behind white lines where used.
  2. All golf carts must be kept on the cart paths adjacent to the tees when teeing off.
  3. No one under 16 years of age may operate or rent a golf cart owned by the Club, and they must have a valid driver’s license.
  4. If a member with a private cart signs a waiver, they may allow their son/daughter the privilege to operate their private cart.
  5. Violation of the rules governing operation of carts may lead to the suspension of golf privileges for up to thirty (30) days as determined by the Board.
  6. During the golf season, no group larger than a five-some will be allowed on the golf course. Five-somes are allowed only with permission from the Pro Shop and are to be spaced.
  7. Regardless of the size of a playing group, if at any time it allows a space greater than one hole to develop between it and the group ahead of it, the group must allow the following group to play through.
  8. It is the responsibility of each player to help maintain the golf course in the best possible playing condition. Replace divots, repair ball marks on the green, and rake traps.
  9.  There shall be no practicing of approaching, chipping to or putting on regular greens. Practice facilities are to be used for this activity.
  10. Any determination of application of rules or interpretation of same is the sole responsibility of the Golf Professional.
  11. Guest privileges accorded under inter-club reciprocity apply to play for that person only. Reciprocal guests may bring a non-member as a guest and are responsible for guests’ fees.
  12. Members, and guests of members, shall use restrooms provided throughout the course. Any display of actions otherwise may lead to suspension of golf privileges for up to 30 days.
 
Cart Path Flagging Rules
Please play attention to the color of the flags posted wall beside bag storage area as this will indicate the conditions for the day.
  1. A Red Flag indicates the need to keep all carts on paths regardless of your handicap status.
  2. A Blue Flag indicates that only those who have been granted handicap status by the Oregon DMV may leave the cart path.
  1. These carts will only be driven into the fairways at the designated entrance and exit areas.
  2. The 90° rule must be obeyed.
  3. These carts must be on the path at all tees and greens.
  1. A Green Flag indicates that all carts may leave the paths and standard cart rules apply. (90°rule)
 
Storage of Privately Owned Golf Carts
  1. Any new or replacement golf carts acquired by any member for use at the Club must be first approved by the Golf Manager and registered at the Club.
  2. No member shall “trailer” their golf carts to the Club on a daily basis. Members must use registered, leased or hired Club golf carts.
  3. The annual fee for golf cart storage and cart path use shall be set by the board. This shall be payable by the registered owner of the storage space.
  4. All private golf cart owners will be required to sign an agreement with the Club. This agreement shall be promptly submitted to and signed by each current owner and also promptly upon acceptance of any new owner of any newly registered golf cart. Signing of the agreement by the owner shall be a precondition to the owner’s use and storage of the owned cart on the Club premises.
  5. No employee of the Club is authorized to modify, revoke, or to otherwise change these rules or to grant special or individual golf cart use or storage privileges. Any such temporary modification as may be requested by the owner of a golf cart must be approved by the Golf Committee and shall not be valid until it is so approved.
  6. These rules and the agreement are subject to change by act of the Board. All owners of registered golf carts or leases shall be bound by any changes enacted by the Board with a 30-day prior notice. Upon written request which specifies the nature of the complaint, grievance, or suggestion, the Board may directly hear complaints or suggestions from owners. All rulings and interpretations of this policy by the Board shall be final and binding upon all owners.
  7. The resignation or dismissal of owner from the Club forfeits golf cart use and storage privileges. All owners grant a lien to the Club on golf cart to secure payment in full of all dues and account balances.
  8. Under no circumstances shall the Club be liable for any loss or damage to any golf cart. Owners assume all risk of loss or damage by the Club or employees, whether or not caused by negligence thereof.
  9. If owners desire to be covered by any insurance, they must obtain their own. Privately owned golf carts are not covered by any Club insurance.
Golf Guest
Guest Fees include the use of our practice facilities and a cart. Must be playing the round with a member.

Golf Cart Leases
Cart leases are from April 1st to March 31st. Single lessors may use a cart any time they golf. A couple may use a cart any time either one of them golfs. With a couple cart lease, they may allow another golfer to accompany them. Only one cart allowed per couple at any one time.
