The roaring 20s are here again.

2022 marked the 100th anniversary of the Roseburg Country Club.
Throughout this century many changes have occurred in the world of golf and within our Country Club.
As a sport, golf has opened up to more than just the elite of the world. Welcoming not only the common man, but ladies and junior golfers. People from all walks of life are drawn to the game as equipment, attire and rules have changed with the times.

Some of the exciting milestones we have reached over the last 100 years at RCC

  • 1922: 93.3 acres of land was purchased
  • 1923: 9 holes were created and R. W Jones designed the original Clubhouse Cost of $5300.00
  • 1978: 9 additional holes were added making RCC an 18-Hole Par 71 Golf Course
  • 1978-79: Additional acres were purchased for a total of 152 acres
  • Gary Roger Baird Inc. was hired to design the expanded golf course
  • 1993: With primarily volunteer labor, a maintenance facility was constructed
  • 2002: The swimming pool facility was added
  • 2005: Our current clubhouse was built

From the Country Club Facility, awe inspiring views await us at each window and an abundance of wildlife call the grounds home. It is not uncommon to be teeing off, and have to pause while a doe and her fawn dart silently across the greens. To witness the resident Osprey dip into one of the ponds and snag a fish for dinner. They mostly ignore our presence as they go about their days.
Today we have an exciting group of personnel to assist you, the members. Enjoy fine dining or relaxing at the 19th hole. Spend summers by the pool and sipping drinks on the patio. There are fun events hosted throughout the year to encourage members to come out to play both off and on the course.
Enjoy our practice range, putting green and pitching areas. Always remember, even the pros need to practice for their game to be “on”.
